MoHIMA CCS Prep Workshop

Overview:

This in-depth curriculum will help you obtain the skills and knowledge needed to successfully pass the CCS Exam.
Learn the basics of selecting the correct answers on the multiple-choice part of the exam.

You’ll learn a step-by-step approach to manual coding, utilizing ICD, CPT and HCPCS coding manuals.

This curriculum is designed to pro-mote confidence, and prepare CCS Exam Candidate by enhancing certification exam study methodology. It does not guarantee successfully passing the CCS exam.

Speaker:

Sherri Ward, RHIA, CCS graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in HIM. After an externship at Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida, she began her coding career in Savannah, Georgia.
Sherri has worked for hospitals through-out the country from Connecticut to California, in roles involving going, auditing, supervising , and managing, both as a consultant and direct employee.

She has frequently engaged in CCS pre sessions both in group setting and individual sessions She is currently working at the University of Colorado Hospitals and enjoys the continuous challenges of the coding profession.
