This in-depth curriculum will help you obtain
the skills and knowledge needed to successfully pass the CCS
Exam.
Learn the basics of selecting the correct answers on the
multiple-choice part of the exam.
You’ll learn a step-by-step approach to manual coding, utilizing
ICD, CPT and HCPCS coding manuals.
This curriculum is designed to pro-mote confidence, and prepare
CCS Exam Candidate by enhancing certification exam study
methodology. It does not guarantee successfully passing the CCS
exam.

This all day workshop will cover the following:
Jennifer Williams, RHIT, CCS is currently
attending the University of Cincinnati, the Health Information
Administration program and plans to sit for her Registered
Health Information Administrators Exam in 2014. In May of 2011
she graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College with an
Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology. After
completing her coding classes in August of 2010 she sat for and
passed her Certified Coding Specialist Exam. Then in March of
2011 she sat for and passed her Registered Health Information
Technician Exam.
From August to December of 2011 Jennifer served as an adjunct
faculty member for Ozarks Technical Community College, teaching
Medical Coding I. She is also a member of the Health Information
Technology Advisory Committee at OTC. In 2012 she was elected
General Officer of the Ozarks Area Health Information Management
Association.
Jennifer currently works at Burrell Behavioral Health as an
Administrative Assistant for the Healthcare Home program and
enjoys her job because she feels a sense of accomplishment on
the work she does and that she has the ability to apply her
skills.
