The Credentialing Reimbursement program was established
to encourage new graduates to sit for the credentialing exam. This
policy will be re-evaluated every year to determine its
effectiveness in increasing the number of credentialed HIM
practitioners in the state of Missouri. Current funding allows MHIMA to provide a maximum of $100 per student who successfully
pass the exam. Future implementation of the policy will be
dependent on the funding available to the state association.
This program initiates with the class of 2002
