MoHIMA Graduate Scholarship Application

MoHIMA supports the professional development of individuals engaged in the graduate study of health information technology, health information management, and/or graduate study in health information management or related fields. Scholarships are awarded through MoHIMA-designated funds.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. AHIMA/MoHIMA Member
  2. Enrolled in a program with areas related to HIM or Health Informatics
  3. Have not previously received a MoHIMA graduate scholarship

An individual may receive a maximum of one MoHIMA graduate scholarship and a maximum of one graduate scholarship in their lifetime.

The application should be submitted electronically and in its entirety.
Questions regarding the application process or the scholarship can be submitted through the MoHIMA website.

You will need to answer the Mandatory Short Answer Question and three other questions for a total of four questions.
Short Answer Questions
You will need a total of two (2) short answer questions. Each short answer shall not exceed 50 words per question.

    I understand that the MoHIMA Scholarship must be submitted in its entirety. Applications not submitted with each of the completed sections listed above will not be considered. In addition, applications not received by the application deadline will not be considered.
    By signing, I certify that the enclosed information is accurate and authentic. Should I be awarded a MoHIMA scholarship, I authorize MoHIMA to release information from this scholarship application for publicity purposes.

    I certify that all information provided in this application is true, complete, and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I further attest that I have not previously received a graduate scholarship from Missouri Health Information Management Association, as applicants are eligible to receive only one graduate scholarship in their lifetime.
    I understand that any misrepresentation, omission, or falsification of information may result in disqualification from consideration or, if already awarded, revocation of the scholarship and requirement to return any funds disbursed. Additionally, applications not received by the application deadline will not be considered.
