Ozark Area Health Information Management Association (OAHIMA)

Purpose

The purpose of this association shall be to provide educational meetings for the members, to promote health information management practice and serve as a communication liaison between the Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma state health information management associations.

OAHIMA Call for Nominations

Would you like to serve on the OAHIMA Board of Directors? Do you know someone who would be a great addition to the Board? Then take this opportunity to make your voice heard.

In June, the OAHIMA Membership will be electing officers for the OAHIMA Board of Directors for the positions of President Elect and Director of Public Relations.

Duties of President-elect. The President-elect shall act in place of the President in the event of the absence of the President and shall exercise such other duties as may be delegated to the office by the Board. Three year commitment: elected to a one-year term as President Elect, then serve 1 year as president and 1 year as past president.

Duties of Director of Public Relations. The Director of Public Relations shall maintain and monitor social media accounts for OAHIMA, contribute to the OAHIMA newsletter, and identify opportunities to improve communication and marketing for OAHIMA. Elected to a two-year term.

If you would be interested in self nominating or would like to nominate someone as a candidate, please fill out the submission form by May 15, 2021.

The election will begin June 1, 2021 and end on June 15, 2021.
