Volunteer Opportunity: Join the MoHIMA Education Committee

Dear MoHIMA Members,

Are you passionate about professional development and helping shape educational opportunities for HIM professionals across Missouri? MoHIMA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to serve on the Education Committee for the August 2026 – June 2027 term.

As a member of the Education Committee, you will play an important role in planning and supporting MoHIMA’s educational offerings, including our Annual Meeting and other educational programs designed to meet the needs of our members throughout the year.

Committee Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and developing MoHIMA educational programs and events.

  • Provide ideas for relevant and engaging topics and speakers.

  • Support the planning and execution of the Annual Meeting.

  • Help ensure educational opportunities are available and valuable to all MoHIMA members.

Time Commitment

The committee will meet monthly throughout the term (August 2026 – June 2027), with additional collaboration as needed to support educational initiatives and events.

This is a great opportunity to:

  • Contribute to the success of MoHIMA and the professional growth of our members.
