Making the Case for Information Governance

One of AHIMA’s core pillars is Information Governance, and while this emerging topic is a hot button issue, many organizations are unsure as to how to get started or how to make a case for starting an Information Governance program in their organization. Come join Seth Katz, MoHIMA president elect and Assistant Administrator at Truman Medical Centers as he discusses how his facility made the case for building an Information Governance program, how HIM supports that initiative and what returns this program has brought the organization. Truman’s case study on IG was included in Linda Kloss’ new book for AHIMA on the topic.
