Time for Annual Bylaws Review and Voting

Hello OAHIMA members.

It is time for our annual review of the OAHIMA organization bylaws. This is where we discuss any changes that have been made, and vote on and approve those changes and the bylaws for another year.

There has been one change to the bylaws for this year. Under item 6.2.2, the inclusion of language regarding the appointed position of Event Coordinator has been vetted by the board and updated.

You will have 30 days to review the updated bylaws, after which they will go for member voting. As a reminder, we must have 3% of our active membership voting to validate the bylaws for the annual review. Please review these bylaws so when it is time to vote on them, you are a well-informed voting member of the organization.

As an active member of OAHIMA, please do your part and review these changes and exercise your right to vote.
